Over the years, VMC Medical Wing has been a pioneering force in preparing students to conquer the NEET.
The camp was held at VMC’s Punjabi Bagh Head Office Campus and Noida Branch and ran from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The health camp, featured a comprehensive range of free medical services aimed at promoting preventive healthcare. Key offerings included Dental Checkup and Oral Hygiene Workshops conducted by experts, Blood Pressure (BP) Monitoring, and Random Blood Sugar (RBS) Tests to assess overall health. Attendees also had the option to undergo Cholesterol or TSH Screening for better metabolic management.
Additionally, specialized services like Eye Checkups and Bone Mineral Density Analysis were provided to detect vision issues and assess bone health. The camp also facilitated Physician Consultations, ensuring a holistic approach to community healthcare needs.
During the camp, Mr. Mahesh Bathla (Vidyamandir classes) said “At VMC, we believe in extending healthcare access to all sections of society. This camp was not just about screening and consultations but also about educating individuals on maintaining good health, especially oral hygiene. We are grateful to Clove Dental and our other healthcare partners for their collaboration and expertise in making this event a success.”
The event also served as an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and bone health issues through regular health checkups.
The main motive of the camp was to encourage students to opt for their regular screenings, and due importance was also given to various health ailments associated with the students age. This camp organized by VMC for its students, is an example of yet another student centric measure taken by the leading institute, which is apt with their motto – ‘Because We care!’
