Cybersecurity has emerged as a critical global concern. According to recent reports, cyberattacks have surged by over 60% in the past two years, with phishing, ransomware, and data breaches being the most prevalent threats. The average cost of a data breach in 2023 stood at $4.45 million globally according to the 2023 cost of a data breach report by IBM and the Ponemon Institute, underscoring the growing financial and operational risks. In India, where digital adoption is accelerating, 68% of businesses have experienced at least one cyber incident in the past year, highlighting the urgent need for comprehensive cybersecurity measures.
Current trends indicate a shift towards more sophisticated threats, including AI-driven attacks and deepfakes, with businesses now prioritizing investments in proactive security solutions, capacity building, and continuous training to stay ahead of the curve. Therefore, the collaboration between InMobi and DSCI represents a significant step toward enhancing cybersecurity resilience in India. By working together, InMobi and DSCI aim to ensure a secure and thriving digital future, where technology innovation is matched with the highest standards of security and trust.
