Both moments highlighted the organisation’s blend of intellectual dialogue and cultural pride, setting the tone for a future driven by youth-led change. Discussions on the Manifesto for the Jai Jagat Movement brought participants together in a shared commitment to a just and inclusive future. The evening came alive with an evocative cultural performance by Gauri Tripathi with Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.
Padma Shri Kranti Shah, Founding President of Yuvak Biradari (Bharat), said “The community has always been an integral part of Maharashtra. In the evolving dynamics of modern society, We are carrying the legacy founded by Balraj Sahni, the concept of “Yuvak Biradari (Bharat)”. Leaders like Pashu Bhattacharya and Jaya Bachchan, though non-Maharashtrians, but they have shaped it nationally and internationally. Mulk Raj Anand and Farooq Sheikh —each contributing to this diverse fabric. Agra was a thoughtful choice. It is easier for MPs, opposition Leaders, and industrialists to attend. Agra offers more inspiration, accessibility, and cultural significance. It is a symbol of evolving traditions. We believe this is a perfect place to ignite a new revolution of change, entrepreneurship, and growth—especially for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. The people here are self-reliant and full of potential. The city’s beauty, religious heritage—from Taj to Agra Fort, Surdas and Galib, and the presence of noble individuals—adds significance.”
Mr. Ayush Nambiar (Renowned Political Strategist, Managing Director, Nambiar Group) praised the event as a successful union of visionaries and thinkers and, in the spirit of the gathering, stated — “Research is the soul of entrepreneurship… it turns problems into possibilities. Without vision, research is just theory without research, entrepreneurship is aimless. Together, they transform challenges into opportunities and opportunities into impact.”
Mr. Kumar Ketkar, Former Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and journalist from past 50 years said “Remembering his association with Shri Kranti Shah over 35 years this programme’s meaningful content, rich culture, and lasting values are deeply rooted in the enduring ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Shri Kranti Shah despite his age which is about 83, he has been able to consistently fight on the cultural front. He has trained many students in this large span of time and training and teaching inculcate value in them, so authentically secular and progressive, all those ideas are not written in ideological format. So, I think this event was organized by Yuvak Biradari and it is so elegantly designed and presented, and without much rhetoric, without much undue politics entering into it, it remained at the cultural level, it remained at the level of seeking knowledge, it did not cross that line.”
Justice Sadhana Sanjay Jadhav, Retired Judge, Bombay High Court said “Yuvak Biradari continues to empower the youth—our nation’s future. The name ‘Jai Jagat’, given by Vinoba Bhave, reflects not only India’s identity but also its role in a larger, interconnected world. Such gatherings are crucial in shaping a better tomorrow.”
The final day of the summit blended history, dialogue, and vision. Participants explored the grandeur of Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, drawing inspiration from the timeless symbols of India’s cultural heritage. The day culminated in an open session and the formal declaration of the summit manifesto, outlining actionable goals for youth-led change, sustainable growth, and inclusive leadership.
With the Jai Jagat Summit 2025, Yuvak Biradari (Bharat) not only marked 51 years of unwavering commitment to youth empowerment but also set a renewed course for the future—where informed ideas, united communities, and bold leadership come together to create a nation of purpose and progress.
As the summit concluded, it left behind more than memories—it ignited a movement, inspiring young minds to take charge, innovate, and collaborate in building an India that is inclusive, sustainable, and ready to lead on the global stage.
