Their collaboration with Sister and Go brought together music, tradition and the artistry of Indian heritage in a setting designed to evoke the intimacy of a festive celebration.
Speaking about the thought behind the collaboration, Priyanka Khanna and Sonali Kapur, founders of Sister and Go, shared:
“Karwa Chauth for us has always been about more than tradition — it’s about the tribe of women who hold us. With Rimple and Harpreet, who have so beautifully preserved the stories of Indian womanhood through their craft, this collaboration felt organic. We wanted to create an evening that feels like home — warm, musical, steeped in nostalgia, and celebrating the timelessness of being a woman, together.”
The evening featured portrait photography through the lens of visionary storyteller Ryan Martin, intricate mehendi by renowned Bollywood celebrity mehendi artist Veena Nagda, and soulful Sufi melodies followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing under the stars.
Through Sister and Go, the founders aim to build a community that honours traditional Indian values through a contemporary, conscious and inclusive lens. The celebration reflects this vision, creating space for women to come together not merely to observe a festival, but to celebrate their friendships, shared histories and the bonds that bring them closer
