Bengaluru, May 12: Even Hospital has entered into a strategic collaboration with Canara Surgicals to introduce advanced laser technology-based medical devices aimed at enabling minimally invasive surgeries across multiple specialties. As part of the long-term partnership focused on surgical equipment deployment and supply, Canara Surgicals has installed its medical-grade Angelas diode laser operating at a 1470 nm wavelength at Even Hospital’s state-of-the-art facility located on Race Course Road, Bengaluru.

The advanced laser device will support procedures across departments, including vascular surgery, interventional radiology, proctology, ENT, cosmetic surgery, and gynaecology. The technology enables treatments such as endovenous ablation for varicose veins, haemorrhoidectomy for piles, percutaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) for spinal conditions, and several other microsurgical procedures.
Speaking on the collaboration, Animesh Roy said, “At Even Hospital, we believe healthcare should be proactive, precise, and centered around patient outcomes. Our collaboration with Canara Surgicals reflects a shared commitment to bringing advanced medical technologies that improve recovery, reduce complications, and make high-quality care more accessible.”
He added that integrating laser-enabled minimally invasive procedures across specialties allows the hospital to provide treatments that are clinically effective while reducing disruption to patients’ daily lives through faster recovery and shorter hospital stays.
Laser-assisted minimally invasive surgeries are increasingly being adopted due to their ability to reduce bleeding, post-operative pain, and recurrence risks when compared with traditional open surgical methods. These procedures also allow greater precision with minimal tissue damage, often enabling same-day or next-day discharge and significantly shorter recovery periods.
Commenting on the partnership, Shreyas S. Naik said, “Our focus has always been on enabling better clinical outcomes with the right technology. This partnership with Even Hospital reflects a shared vision of improving patient outcomes while reducing the emotional and financial burden associated with surgeries and prolonged hospital stays.”
Founded in 2023, Canara Surgicals focuses on providing advanced surgical technologies and medical equipment aimed at improving surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The company has received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) for supplying medical equipment across India and currently works with several leading hospital chains nationwide.
The company is expanding its presence through a growing pan-India distributor network, with most deployments currently concentrated in tier-1 and tier-2 cities. It is also exploring a pay-per-use model to improve access to advanced surgical technologies for healthcare providers in smaller towns.
Even Hospital, which follows a technology-driven managed care model, continues to focus on coordinated healthcare delivery, preventive care, and improved patient outcomes as it expands its footprint across Bengaluru and other parts of India.
