Following counselling by AP Jeevan Daan State Coordinator Dr. Manmadha Rao on the importance of organ donation, the bereaved family agreed to donate both kidneys, the liver and the pancreas, offering a new lease of life to multiple patients awaiting transplants.

Dr. Manmadha Rao described the donation as a landmark achievement in the State's organ transplantation programme, noting that it was the first pancreas organ donation to be facilitated in Andhra Pradesh.
