August 18th, 2025 : GD Goenka Skills, part of GD Goenka Group, An education conglomerate having over 150 schools nationwide has announced strategic partnerships with industry giants JSW, Spark Minda, and Havells etc to implement impactful skill development programs across India. These initiatives are part of it’s continued commitment to contributing towards the Government of India’s “Skill India” and “Viksit Bharat” missions through industry-aligned skilling programs.
GD Goenka Skills is executing the Eklavya Skill Training Program across North India in collaboration with JSW, targeting fabricators, masons, and engineers—particularly from underserved backgrounds—by providing them with technical training, hands-on practicals, and workplace readiness skills to enhance employability and create a pipeline of industry-ready professionals for India’s growing infrastructure and manufacturing sectors.
In partnership with Spark Minda, it is implementing a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) training program under PMKVY 4.0 to up-skill and certify the existing semi-skilled workforce in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, helping workers gain formal recognition for their skills, bridge competency gaps, and elevate their career growth opportunities in line with national standards and NSDC guidelines.
It is also the executing partner for Havells India Ltd.’s national-level Electricians Training Program, designed to equip electricians with updated technical knowledge, safety protocols, and smart electrical system expertise, rolled out in multiple states through the university’s robust training infrastructure and expert faculty to ensure quality delivery and measurable outcomes, creating a future-ready pool of certified electrical professionals.
