Noida: IMS Noida, Sector 62, organized a blood donation camp on Tuesday in collaboration with the Rotary Noida Blood Center. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who came forward to contribute to this noble cause. A total of 54 units of blood were donated during the camp, which was successfully conducted with the support of the IMS Student Welfare Committee.

On this occasion, Professor (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Director General of IMS Noida, who also donated blood, expressed his happiness and pride at seeing students, staff and faculty members actively participating in voluntary blood donation. He emphasized that blood donation is the highest form of human service and urged the youth to be more aware and proactive about it. “By donating blood, we can save countless lives every year. Even a small contribution from us can make a significant impact in critical medical and surgical procedures,” he said. Prof. Dhawan further encouraged everyone to make blood donation a regular practice at least once a year.

Dr. Govind Prasad Goyal, Dean of Student Welfare, highlighted that blood donation is a shared social responsibility. “Our blood has the power to save lives, and that alone should inspire us to take initiative without waiting for special occasions or camps. Donating blood strengthens both the community and our own health, as the body regenerates new blood within a few days,” he said.

Rtn. Anshu Agarwal, President of the Noida Rotary Blood Centre stated, “Noida Rotary Blood Centre has always been at the forefront of humanitarian service. Our association with IMS Noida for this blood donation camp reflects our shared commitment to saving lives and building a healthier community. Every drop of blood donated today symbolizes compassion and responsibility toward society.”

Rtn. Sudhir K. Midha, Managing Trustee of Rotary Noida Blood Centre, appreciated the energy and involvement of the participants. “The enthusiasm and participation of students in this noble cause are truly commendable. Blood donation is one of the simplest yet most impactful acts of kindness. We are grateful to IMS Noida, Hon'ble Director General Sir and the Student Welfare Committee for their wholehearted support in making this initiative a great success,” he remarked.
