National, 19th September’ 2025 — Audacity Venture Capital today announced its participation in the 1 million dolar seed funding round of PlaySuper, a gaming commerce platform that embeds real-world rewards directly inside mobile games. Other Investors include-Chimera, the Singapore-based gaming-focused venture firm, IAN Capital Fund, and Dhruv Vohra, Meta’s Managing Director for APAC Emerging Markets.

PlaySuper, founded by Shouradeep Chakraborty, Upamanyu Chatterjee and Abhir Das  is tackling one of gaming’s toughest and most persistent challenges: sustainable monetization and retention. While free-to-play games dominate downloads across emerging markets, most rely on either interruptive in-game ads, which degrade user experience and are seeing falling conversion rates, or cash-based incentives, which face growing regulatory scrutiny and poor scalability. PlaySuper offers a third path—giving game developers a plug-and-play way to integrate branded, non-monetary rewards (from digital gift cards to physical consumer products) directly into gameplay loops. This creates “commerce moments” inside games, transforming play sessions into opportunities to win aspirational real-world rewards.

In just months of going live, PlaySuper has already crossed 350,000 dolar in monthly GMV, with early game studio partners reporting double-digit gains in user retention and monetization metrics. The platform currently powers reward storefronts and campaigns inside multiple casual and skill-based games, reaching millions of monthly active users.

“At PlaySuper, we are building the global commerce backbone for gaming. By embedding real-world rewards directly into gameplay, we transform every play session into a shoppable moment that drives revenue for studios. Our ambition is to become the default monetization engine powering how the next billion gamers spend.” said Shouradeep Chakraborty, Founder/CEO at PlaySuper

“We believe gaming commerce will emerge as the next major monetization unlock for free-to-play titles in emerging markets.  Billion internet users are spending their time – and brands need better ways to reach them. PlaySuper sits at the intersection of these two forces,” said Kabir Kochhar, Managing Partner at Audacity Venture Capital“It’s a rare opportunity to build both engagement and commerce at scale.”

With this fresh capital, PlaySuper plans to accelerate product development, expand its network of brand partnerships, and scale operational capacity across India and Southeast Asia. As mobile gaming continues its explosive rise across the region, PlaySuper aims to position itself as the monetization backbone for the next generation of free-to-play and skill-based games—creating a future where every gaming session can drive meaningful commerce.
