India, 31st October, 2025: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week being observed from October 27 to November 2, 2025, the Central Bank of India organized a special function for its employees at the Corporate Office, Chandermukhi, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The event was held on the theme ‘Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility’.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from executives and staff across Mumbai and other regions through video conferencing and YouTube live streaming. The Integrity Pledge was administered to all employees by Shri Kalyan Kumar, MD & CEO, and Shri Sunil Arora, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO).
In his address, Shri Sunil Arora emphasized the importance of integrity, honesty, and transparency in ensuring safe and ethical banking practices, particularly in the digital era. Shri Kalyan Kumar reiterated the significance of the Bank’s value system, encouraging employees to undertake a self-evaluation of vigilance awareness. He also commended the active participation of employees and their children during the three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign.
During the event, the Bank’s vigilance magazine ‘Cent Vigil’ was unveiled by the MD & CEO and the CVO. A documentary prepared by the Vigilance Department highlighted various activities conducted during the campaign period, which commenced on August 18, 2025.
To foster engagement, competitions were organized for employees and their families across the country, and the winners were felicitated during the function.
The event successfully reinforced the Bank’s commitment to promoting transparency, ethical conduct, and collective responsibility towards vigilance and integrity.
