250 Lives Touched: Samvaad Distributes Free Hearing Aids to the Needy and Underprivileged

Bengaluru, Sep 11: Samvaad Institute of Speech and Hearing distributed 250 hearing aids free of cost to needy and underprivileged individuals with hearing impairment as part of its 21st anniversary celebrations.

The week-long camp, held from August 11 to 18, 2026, at the institute’s Hebbal centre, aimed to support economically disadvantaged beneficiaries and help improve their quality of life through accessible hearing care.

Ms. Radhika Poovayya, Trustee, Samvaad Foundation, said the initiative reflects Samvaad Institute’s continued commitment to supporting the hearing-impaired community through affordable and accessible assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and hearing care services.
