13th May 2024: Following a heartwarming celebration dedicated to cherished mothers, Manipal Hospital Dwarka organises a session and a Health Mela for expecting and new mothers to highlight the significance of health on Mother’s Day. The event was full of warmth and was a step to show the appreciation of mothers’ love by taking care of their health and well-being. From insightful discussions on nutrition, physical activities & mindful living to engaging activities and delightful surprises, the event was a heartfelt tribute to the essence of motherhood. During this event the hospital also launched the Wow Mom Health Card, offering mothers special benefits and discounts on healthcare services.
Dr. (Lt. Col) Leena N Sreedhar, Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, captivated the audience with her enlightening overview of International Mother’s Day, emphasizing its significance and said, “We at Manipal Hospital Dwarka have joined hands together to pay tribute to the unconditional love, nurturing care and the selfless sacrifices which are made by mothers that shaped the destiny of their families nurturing children and eventually in nation building which is why taking care of mother’s health is necessary.
