Chennai, March 7, 2025 – Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, praised Garuda Aerospace’s tactical drones during the 56th Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Rising Day Parade in Chennai. The demonstration also featured Garuda’s Logistics Drone, Surveillance Drone, Tear Gas Canister Dropping Drone, and the Trishul Drone for Riot Management, all designed to enhance national security and modernize law enforcement capabilities. Shri Amit Shah praised the company’s commitment to innovation, emphasizing the pivotal role of indigenous drone technology in bolstering India’s defence infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed that CISF has always focused on safety and set high standards that are tough for other forces to match. He praised CISF for protecting important places like airports, seaports, nuclear and space centers, the Delhi Metro, and government buildings. CISF Chief RS Bhatti talked about training experts in areas like cybersecurity, data science, aviation security, anti-drone technology, fire safety, and weapons training. He also mentioned that 31,000 new personnel are being recruited, and the force will grow by 10% every year.
